Permata Gayo was founded in 2006 in the Bener Meriah district of the Aceh Province in Sumatra, Indonesia. Thread visited these farmers in March 2014, and we’re very excited to have a relationship with them. We roast this coffee a bit darker to bring out the earthy body, and hints of caramel. It makes an excellent iced coffee, and also is a great balanced cup served hot.
