￩￫$10.99Dispenser pack of (100) Chemex FC-100 Bonded Filter Circles.
These filters will work, and are designed, for all sizes and styles of Chemex Coffee Brewers except the small Chemex CM-1C & CM-1 models (pint size models) 1-3 Cup Coffee Makers.
Chemex filters remove even the finest sediment particles as well as the undesirable oils and fats. The formulation of the filter permits the proper infusion time by regulating the filtration rate – not to slow, not too fast. Good infusion of the coffee grounds (as in brewing and steeping tea) gives coffee a richer flavor while at the same time making possible precise fractional extraction: filtering out the undesirable components which make coffee bitter by allowing only the desirable flavor elements of the coffee bean to pass through.
The Chemex filter is folded into a cone shape, exactly as in laboratory techniques. This assures uniform extraction since the water filters through all the grounds on its way to the apex of the cone. The Chemex filter is guaranteed not to burst under the weight of the liquid during filtration, and not to break when lifting out the grounds.
Fully-bodied, richer flavor, from less coffee, and as strong as you like without bitterness – that’s what the Chemex filter gives you.OUT OF STOCK$10.99OUT OF STOCKSuccessfully Added to your Shopping CartAdding to Cart…

￩￫$15.00Dedicated to more than just growing coffee, La Central Cooperativa Las Diosas (The Goddesses) is a dynamic network of community based cooperatives run by women and supporting true development and respect for women’s rights. The cooperative is located east of Managua in the department of Estelí where much of the land is devoted to tobacco production and largely controlled by male producers. Las Diosas consists of four smaller cooperatives, each managed by its own Directiva (female Board of Directors). Fiercely independent and determined to succeed in the coffee industry, the 250-member cooperative has made much progress since their founding in 1996, both in terms of sustainable commercial relations for their coffee sales as well as the promotion of issues such as women’s education, housing and health.
